Last Week Tonight: New York

After a miserable day of flying I finally arrived in New York!  I had a great first week and will share my last few moments with you next week.  Check out my top picks for your next trip.
Things to do: The high line has become a top tourist destination but is still one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in the city.  Luckily there is an entrance just steps away from the door of our building!
Yayoi Kusama's obliteration room is pure joy.  I loved being able to add to this colorful space.  The exhibit is not there much longer so go fast!
Sadly this was the last week for Her Story but a new Story will be popping up shortly! Story is a store with different themes every couple weeks.  It is always a surprise walking into that store and never disappoints.
Things to eat: I'm sure by now you know that Friday was national donut day, so obviously I was waiting in line at Doughnut Plant.  Doughnut plant has yeast, cake, and filled donuts in the most exciting and beautiful flavors.  Below is a Strawberry, Chocolate Mole, Salted Peanut, and Blueberry and all are just as amazing as the last.
The perfect destination for any meal of the day is CookShop.  After walking by 100 times and envying everyones food, I finally got to try it myself.  I got the most beautiful breakfast bowl filled with kale, falafel, egg, spinach, and faro.
Lady M is such a joy.  There green tea crepe cake is my top pick, with about 1,000 crepes and a green tea filling topped with matcha powder, I can't think of anything better.  Lady M is beautiful and the perfect place to take a break from a long walk in Central Park.
This delicious looking nugget is a vegetable dumpling from Tao Downtown.  Definitely one of my favorite meals to date.  The food was so clean tasting and lots of exciting vegetarian options!
I have been waiting months to go to Black Seed Bagels, so walking through that door yesterday was a dream come true.  Then, I got my bagel and had about a 10 minute photo-shoot, and finally I got to take a bite.  Although I think most bagels in NY are outstanding, but this shines above all others.  They have tofu cream cheese and lots of veggies to make the best power bagel.  But, the BEC looks pretty outstanding.
Top Pick:  If you follow me on instagram you probably already knew that my top pick was going to be Gov Ball. The energy is outstanding, the food is amazing, and the music stands up to both.

I wore my Alexander Wang X HM sports bra, with my Asos bermudas, and my Skechers Sandals topped with a leather hat from Brooklyn Industries.
The Bag!
