Steal the Look: Prom

Prom is just around the corner and is stressful as ever.  With my picky and unique taste the average prom dress just doesn't cut it for me.  Lucky for you, I put together some of my favorite celebrity red carpet looks from this season and found look-a-likes!  Beginning with Keira Knightley in Chanel, this ladylike, butterfly printed piece is perfect for a spring time formal look.
This BCBG dress has the butterfly effect all over this dress.  The sky blue color with the contrasting black belt will make you stand out from rest.  This dress is perfect for a classy prom look complete with light jewelry and a fresh face.

If the last dress wasn't your speed this might be.  Miley Cyrus was a goddess at the Grammys in Alexandre Vauthier, this dress shows that all black can be just as bold as any print.
This Fame and Partners dress gives the bold cutouts but more school prom appropriate.  The dress has an open back and slits in the leg.  Complete the look with a dark lip and a sky high heel.
Rosamund Pike was my pick for best dressed at the Oscars in Givenchy.  If you are looking for a standout piece, take notes on this embroidered piece.  The fitted waistline keeps the roses from overpowering her.
This Aidan Mattox dress gives you the bold rose effect but is still very classic.  The shape of this dress is more accessible and not as hard to pull off as the original but will still have you turning heads.  To finish of the look pull your hair back to keep the focus on the dress and add a tiny necklace.
Kim isn't even a musician and still one upped everyone in the Jean Paul Gaultier gown.  If you are a major queen diva you must take on this look.  All you need to pull it off is Kim's confidence.
This Aidan Mattox dress is to die for.  I love how it mimics the robe effect of Kim's dress.  The champagne gold coloring makes the dress classy and not gaudy.  Definitely go full on Kim complete with a smokey eye and contoured cheek.
Honestly, I had to.  Rihanna looked better than any Barbie cake or princess I have ever seen in Giambattista Valli.  If you are looking for the ultimate girly-girl dress, you have found the right place.
This Sherrie Hill dress is perfect for your inner princess.  The two piece design makes the ball gown more updated.  Go big or go home.  Finish the look with a ballet bun.
I can't wait to share my prom look with you! What will you be wearing?
