Fairy Princess

I've probably already named like five posts something about fairies and princesses but you're going to have to get over it.  This look is super sweet, I wore this to a party with a pair of heels but I love the look with flat sandals.  It gives the outfit a dreamier quality.
This sweater is from American Apparel, it is super lightweight and fits so nicely.  It is a great basic to have in your closet.
This skirt is honestly my dream skirt. It is from Anthropologie and the process of me getting this skirt was a six month journey.  It is by Alexandra Grecco and is no longer available but here is a cute skirt very similar.

Boston

I am so in love with this city.  I feel like I am in a small neighborhood of Chicago but all over!  Newbury Street is obviously my number one recommendation, it has every store you could want and the street itself is adorable. The city is so fun to walk around in and explore! The app HeyLets! is coming to the app store soon.  Keep your eyes out for the release, it is an app that lets you post your favorite places and you can see what cool places your friends have discovered! It's a great way to see a new city or even your own! Here are some photos of my favorite moments so far.

I snapped this picture my first day here, I was so in awe of all the different architecture.  Every building has so much character and charm.

Yesterday I went to the Copley Square Farmers Market, they had some beautiful produce and the biggest cookies I have ever seen! But obviously I had to snap these joyous sunflowers.

As a Ben&Jerry's super fan I was so excited when I realized there is one every couple blocks!

The Public Gardens are stunning, it is a perfect place to have a picnic, read a book or just admire the beauty on a walk.
This cupcake was too fabulous,  it is from Georgetown Cupcake. It is a peanut butter fudge flavor and if that doesn't make you want to run there now, I can't help you.
This is a photo from Harvard, the campus is so gorgeous it will make you want to study a little harder in school.
I am here for two more weeks so share some of your favorite spots with me!

Boho Chic

This look has both super bohemian and super chic elements.  The hair, purse, and shirt all give off a simple and easy bohemian look.  The red lipstick, fitted pant, and heels dress up this look.  I love this because it is super accessible, this outfit is not too wild or daring but still looks amazing.
This purse is with me every second of every day, I love it to death.  It dresses up practically any outfit. It is from Steve Madden two springs ago (embarrassing I know). You can find a  similar but smaller bag here.
My pants are from Anthropologie, I love this fitted cargo.  They can be worn with just about anything. Here is a similar pant by Pilcro in a different color.
This shirt I got from Urban Outfitters on sale, thats lucky for me and unlucky for you because it is no longer available but here is a shirt of similar style.

America!

I hope everyone had a wonderful fourth of July weekend! In honor of this fabulous occasion I have one of my favorite outfits to date to share.
I got this amazing dress at the Vintage Garage Sale in Chicago, I fell in love and it fit me perfectly.  I love the red accent, it adds an apron effect and is too adorable.

My headscarf is also from the vintage garage sale. The color schemes are identical but the patterns are different so they can be paired well together

Sadly I can't give you places to purchase this outfit but go out and find your own vintage gems!!

Closet Remix

I am loving the app closet remix. I feel like Cher Horowitz everytime I use it.
Upload pictures of your favorite articles of clothing and you and your friends can put together new outfit combinations!  This app is perfect for me because since I'm not at home this summer I don't have my unlimited amount of clothing available to me, so I have to get creative.
Follow me at Dani Mikaela McGowan and remix my closet.
